teaching philosophy
I am a firm believer in the theory of Multiple Intelligences. All students learn in different ways, and it is essential to use eclectic teaching approaches and differentiated instruction in order to reach each of them. In my teaching, I ensure that my students will have experiences where they are able to learn in a manner that suits them because my lessons provide diversity and help students to be interested in what they're learning about. I create an environment that fosters innate inquiry skills in my students and helps them to become involved in their learning. There is a saying that goes, "The one doing the most talking is often the one doing the most learning," so I avoid direct instruction and encourage personal growth in my students as learners and as people in every possible situation with student based learning activities. I want my students to have a hand in the world they live in, and I can be one of many to help them attain that. My passion in life is learning, and I want to instill that passion in my students for years to come. My goal is to pass down a desire to be a life-long learner to all students.
